Preventing School Failure: Educational Support

This programme offers after-school educational support, pedagogical assistance, therapy and recreational activities for children aged 4 to 16 who come from financially challenged families (such as low income families, monoparental families, families that have to tend to disabled members, etc)

In most cases, the parents do not have the time, means or the knowledge to be involved in the child’s emotional and intellectual development. We aim at being a mentor community to each child and we strive to develop programs that engage students in new and interesting ways in order to discourage academic drop out.

Reducing school failure pays off for both the child and society, contributing to long term economic growth, social development, and a more humanitarian society. In Siret, education may just be the key route to social mobility.
