Drop In Programme
The Drop In Programme came to life in 2003 and it’s aimed at 20 adults within the age group 23 to 35 years old, all of whom have lived at the NeuroPsychiatric Hospital in Siret. Some have children of their own.
The participants have all graduated from various apprenticeships and trade schools but, having been denied or left without employment, they are now in need of financial and emotional assistance.
Access to the labour market in Siret is at a low level and employers are still prejudiced or lack the necessary logistics to offer employment to disabled people.
Within the Drop In Programme, we offer hot meals, medical and legal support, temporary accommodation and job counselling.
We also organize monthly get togethers in which we find common ground to tackle the economic and social obstacles that our participants meet along the way.
